GNR, RHCP and Beastie Boys headline 2012 Rock N Roll HOF class

Not true. One member of Rush has more talent than the entire GnR. I loved GNR's stuff, but Rush keeps putting out good records to this day. They reinvented their sound and kept it awesome. They have the best bass player in rock, IMO, and everyone is a expert at their instrument. GnR is great, but sorry, Rush is much better than any of those inducted.

I'm not a huge Kiss fan, but they should be in over Gnr or RHCP.

Politics I'm sure.

Not sure why i'm answering this months later but there's more to being a band than just being experts at playing instruments. You also have to know how to write great lyrics, create a unique sound that can never be duplicated, and the band needs to have great chemistry in how the different instruments' sounds interact with one anoter to build an overall outstanding melody and rhythm. From 1987 to 1993, nobody was better at this than GNR

Not sure why i'm answering this months later but there's more to being a band than just being experts at playing instruments. I might be on of the few who thing Use you Illusion I/II was better than Appetite.

Rush has a sound no one can duplicate, and their lyrics are generally very good. They should be in the Hall but unfortunately Axl and GnR were in the media more and you know the rest. I personally don't think someone should get in the Hall for 3 good albums. I loved GnR's stuff but just being real here.

The Use Your Illusions albums have some very underrated songs on them with Use Your Illusion II being on the same level as Appetite For Destruction. Many people discount them because they went for a different style and feel than a lot of the gritty AFD tracks, something artists today are scared to do.
