Any Firefighters on here? I have something I want to give away to one with a child.

I may just take it over to the local fire station. They would be suprised to see me when I didn't call 9-1-1! LOL

I have a Firefighting Teddy Bear by Gund. (Sorry it's sideways, it's the only pic I could find on the net.)

New in the box. I got it this Summer at an estate sale.

I also have the Police version:

If your Bother has any young chldren, I'd be happy to send it to him, or deliver it.

Maybe he also knows some Police with a young chhild.

That's a great idea. Back in Indiana, the State police took bear donations. They called it "Bears for Bears". When my mom passed away , I donated all her bears to the IND. State Police.

Whenever they have to work an accident that involves children, they give them a bear from the back of their cruiser! (This might be country wide, I don't know.)

I'll call the state patrol and see if they have a similar program.

cool...and ya...bring it to your local fire station...they'll give it to a kid the next time their house burns down or something.
