Falcons doing everything to gift this game

None of you know anything about the falcons.

I do.

I know that there defense is playing pretty good this year, primarily due to their linebacker play. Lofton and Weatherspoon are damned solid players. But their secondary is suspect, especially after losing Grimes to injury. Abraham is a hoss at DE, but the rest of their DL is suspect.

They have a very good group of receivers, but White and Jones are apt to develop a case of the dropsies. We are gonna have to rotate our safeties over the top to cover White and Jones deep. That, of course, leaves us vulnerable to Douglas and Gonzalez over the middle. If our DL gets whooped by the Falcon's run game, its very likely to be ANOTHER long, long day on defense.

In special teams, I see no huge edge though, if there is one, give it to the Falcons because I don't think they've surrendered multiple special teams TDs this year.

Panthers only getting +2.5 pts....not sure if I should bet this game or not. Gotta love an underdog at home though, playing with its first win streak, against a rival.

edit: still a die hard fan and not really asking for advice. just something i found curious with only a 2.5 spread and the falcons playing for their season.

The falcons will easily cover.
