Yeah, Cam's arm was hit as he was going forward to deliver the pass. Considering that, I actually think it's pretty amazing that he was able to get it as close as he did.

It obviously was not Smith's day to break his record. There clearly was a series of events taking place that prevented him from having his day. Cam was hit in the arms as he was throwing the ball. Smith saw the ball was short and was coming back for it. The defender either blocked Smith or something because Smith was losing his balance by the time the ball got to him. If he was upright he could have still caught the ball despite it being under thrown because it was on his line.

Got to give Cam credit for being able to throw a ball that hard and online despite being hit in the arm like that.
