So teams should be forced to get nothing in return for a star player when they opt out and leave for X big market team anyway? If I'm a New Orleans fan I'm almost as mad as Lakers fans are right now. They were getting a TON of great pieces to rebuild with....

Not sure it made them worse for the immediate future. Paul would help Bynum's game greatly. And I am sure Kobe would be highly motivated with CP3 next to him.

NOH did get a great deal out of it considering Paul was probably gone after this season.

ESPN's Chris Broussard is reporting that Chris Paul is furious about the NBA's decision to cancel an agreed upon trade to the Lakers.

Paul is exploring his legal options with NBPA director Billy Hunter.

Yep... NO was making out pretty good... as it stands now CP3 will be a FREE AGENT in about 6 months.... Then he can walk away for NOTHING... So NO was getting a lot considering he could have just walked like LBJ and Bosh did!

To Bad CP3 will be a FREE Agent come this summer so he will be able to decide exactly where he wants to go....
