Chris Paul Trade Discussion

Soooooooo....

Lebron, DWade, Bosch

versus

Kobe, CP3, Howard.

Who is the better Big 3?

Do you really need to ask, Lakers would have the best floor general to manufacture everything. The player who is the most clutch in basketball (with a chip on his shoulder), and the most dominating big man in the game....Lakers big three by a mile. Head to head match ups would depend on how L.A. was able to fill out the roster with ring chasing veteran role players in this hypothetical (hopefully still can happen) big 3....

LA's Big 3 (when the trade went down yesterday) of CP3, Kobe, and Bynum was/is probably better than Miami's.

I would agree, as long as Bynum could stay healthy. CP3 would make Bynum so much better with his ability to get him the ball consistently around the basket....

the Miami big three is really just poorly suited to play together

Wade and Lebron are basically the same type of players, and Bosh needs the ball in his hands every possession to be an effective scorer (and he isn't that great of a defender)

so essentially they have no one to distribute the ball and Three players who need it in their hands to make something happen

Miami is solid on defense because they can effectively shut down your backcourt with Wade plus Lebron two great defenders

However, it would be scary to see what CP3 could do with Howard.....just look what he did to Chandler. oh yea that Kobe guy is pretty good too

How are the Lakers getting Howard again? Bynum + picks cant possibly be enough. Are they planning on signing him as a free agent or something (that CP3 trade has them shedding a lot of salary)?

It would have been Bynum, picks and some expiring contracts Orlando could move for picks/young players. The salary they were saving in the original deal was to create a trade exception so they could take back Hedo's atrocious contract along with Howard. It basically would have gone down just like the Melo deal where he said send me to L.A. or I walk and you get nothing...
