I hope the Panthers do the job right because it sucked that she didn't get something equally great at the game. Please keep us posted. It was awesome to see that smile beaming when Cam gave her the ball. Had to make your day to know this turned out the way it did.

Your daughter sounds like an amazing young lady. She is pretty smart to be a Panther fan. Maybe she'll work on her dad in the offseason. I am a former Skins fan, btw. It's really easy to unsheathe the claws as a Panther fan! :)

Somehow I have a feeling the panthers will ruin it and give her some crappy care package. Doesnt everyone remember that "Big" news that the panthers we advertising on facebook and twitter and how excited we were and then it turned out to be cheaper crappy seats.... I seriously doubt it will be something crappy. I would imagine a Signed Newton jersey or a signed ball or perhaps a team signed ball by many of the star players would be appropriate. With the national nature of this story, they will definitely take care of her.

I just wanted to give you guys an update......

Yesterday when Katie got home from School, there was a box for the Panthers. Inside the box was an Authentic Autographed Newton Jersery, and 3 other shirts. (2 Golf style and 1 Tee shirt) and a hand written Thank You letter from Jackie Miles. She was excited about the Jersery...to say the least

Not sure if this was the "care package" or not but anyway, I wanted to give you guys an update! Ill keep you posted if anything else follows.
