If we somehow magically win out this is what has to happen.

Detriot has to have a complete meltdown for us to get a playoff spot. If they win one more game were mathematically out.

Detroit and Chicago BOTH have to win one more to mathematically eliminate us. We could get by with just one losing out.

I see the Falcon game as one that the Panthers COULD win. They'd have to stop Turner, which is possible, and pressure Ryan, with the offense maintaining long, methodical drives, to give the D rest.

The Texan game I feel is going to be the toughest to win out of all of them. Arian Foster is so dynamic in that offense, catching and running. If Beason was in there, I wouldn't feel as nervous, but who would cover him? I don't think Anderson is fast enough, and I don't think bringing a safety down to stack to box would help cause Yates can wing it deep. Plus the Texans have a pretty good defense under Phillips.

IF the Panthers win that game, I could see them winning out.

More than likely the Saints would rest their starters after the second quarter, if they play at all. Still would be nice to beat them with their starters in though.

If only if only.

This thread ticks me off knowing that it would be so much more legitimate had this team taken care of business against:

Arizona

Chicago

New Orleans

Minnesota

Detroit

I'll give Green Bay, Atlanta, and Tenn. thier wins, but we could very easily be sitting at 9-3 (even with this trashtastic defense)

If we somehow get to face Johnson again and Chase Daniels, our 6 wins will be less impressive than Tampa's 10 wins last year, which is a very tough feat.

If we win this weekend, will you finally STFU about our win quality? I have actually read some intelligent thoughts from you before, at least I think I have! You are the wannabe UFC fighter that lives near San Diego right? I might have you mixed up with someone else but, DAMN HOW DO YOU FIND THE TIME TO TROLL THIS MUCH?

Granted I can understand your discontentment towards the "new" fan, BUT do you even like the Panthers? I also liked Moore and hated drafting Cam and I WAS WRONG. If Cam keeps his head on straight then he will be one of the best ever to play the game......and deep down you know this, plus you know that the OROY isn't even close! In relation to teams, Cam took a true 0-16 defense and will have them at 4 wins or better. Dalton is taking a 12-4 defense and might finish 9-7!

I like the Panthers, they are my favorite team. I also like many players on other teams but as a whole, the Panthers are my favorite. Cam looks to have a promising future. As for the 0-16 to 4-12 or 12-4 to 9-7, that's just the Cam fan talking and I prefer to stay away from that type of talk and stay rooted in facts. Cam will likely win rookie of the year but there is 100% an argument to be made for other rookies in the NFL.

As Aristotle said..."It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it."

theres much more too it then that I am sure but you refuse to see it. also didn't mean to pi you. Waiting for typical troll response.

I see our defense is very terrible and is only capable of slowing down backup QBs and our offense isn't good enough to outscore offenses with starting caliber QBs.

I agree with most everything you said there TRD, but I think it is true but slightly misleading to say our offense isn't good enough to outscore offenses with starting caliber QBs... I think most offenses would have trouble outscoring opponents the way our defense has hemorrhaged points at times this season.

Our offense has been more than good enough to keep us in games, and if we had something close to an average defense, have actually won more than 4 games, too.
