I'm not the type who wishes failure on anyone, but it's going to be interesting to see how his situation shakes out next year. Luck opting out of the draft is exactly why we have Cam and I'm glad the cards fell that way. Just another example of how projected #1 doesn't mean anything until the player has NFL starts under their belt.

I'm very happy with how things played out as well. Life is always so full of irony, and this is just another example. I think Luck will be a good pro too, but I'm fully satisfied with Newton and think he'll prove to be worth #1 overall in most any draft.
