hanley is a headcase and Reyes hasn't played a full season in 3 seasons and is coming off a career year

Miami Marlins = dream team hype

Headache or not, that doesn't change the fact that he is a good hitter. A VERY good hitter. Mike Stanton is a beast, Logan Morrison is good. They have several good young players. If they add Pujols it will a dangerous line up.

They remind me a lot of the Phillies when they got their new stadium and spent a lot of money to get players and went on a run for several years. I think the Marlins will do the same as long as they get the same kind of fan supprt the Phils get. Which is a big question.

No doubt the Marlins have potential. I'm a HUGE Mike Stanton fan. I think the guy is going to be a perennial HR champion, never seen someone with power like his. Logan Morrison is a good player as you said. Hanley is just lazy and a massive headache. He certainly wasn't a good hitter last year. Isn't their farm system VERY depleted though?

Their pitching though... Josh Johnson when healthy is one of the best pitchers in the MLB. Healthy is a big question mark with him though(same with Reyes). If they signed Pujols, no doubt their offense will probably be one of the best in the MLB if not the best.

I just think they're getting a lot of hype when they've only signed two guys.

I still think the NL East plays out this year with

1) Phillies

2) Braves

3) Nationals

4) Marlins

5) Mets

No offense to any Mets fans here :D, but that team is just in a horrible spot right now.
