Prime time Games

I count first 8 teams. Division is 6. 8+6 = 14. Bye week is 15... where's 16

Lockout didn't change 16 games right

Two intraconference games are based on our record this year. So if we are 3rd in the division. We play 2 games against 3rd place division teams from other teams in the NFC.

I had it wrong

I forgot we play 16 opponents when I only seen those first 8. So we play the same finisher as us in those divisions it say, so its not set. Makes sense now

14 of 16 games are set and not based on record. This is why your record has little affect on the strength of schedule for the next year.

I will be really surprised and dissapointed if the Panthers don't have at least 3 prime time games next year.

Offense= Ratings, plain and simple. Biggest reason TV execs have avoided the Panthers the last few years.

Second what someone else posted about most likely PT games...

1) CAR- DEN (Newton/The Golden Calf of Bristol, Fox playing his old team, etc). A lock

2) CAR-NO (Match-up of the up-and-coming team vs. the defending division champ, 2 explosive offenses). TB has little national appeal, watching ATL is like watching paint dry

3) CAR- DAL/PHI (Leaning towards Philly b/c of Newton vs. Vick, but could see Cowboys since they are always a draw and so is Newton)

CAR & DEN will probably get the most prime time love of any teams outside of the NFC/AFC East big market teams and the Packers, Saints, Steelers b/c of Newton & The Golden Calf of Bristol

Really even 4 PT games is not out of the question. Especially if the Panthers finish strong down the stretch.
