Chances are slim, but it's strange how things have fallen over the past few weeks. Lets say the Giants and Lions lose today.

NYG- 6-6 (@DAL, WAS, @NYJ, DAL) could easily go 2-2 or worse

DET- 7-5 (MIN, @Oak, SD, @GB) Min plays hard, Oakland is unpredictable, SD is meh but still a good team and GB might sit their starters or play hard.

CHI- 7-5 (@DEN, SEA, @GB, @MIN) 3 road games are tough, especially when two are against division rivals. With the loss of Cutler and maybe Forte, I wouldn't be shocked if they went 0-4 to close out the season.

ATL- 7-5 (@CAR, JAC, @NO, TB) The falcons are a different team in the Georgia dome, Carolina might sneak away with a victory. I'd imagine they'll go 9-7 at worst.

In the end, even if we win every game to close out the year, I still see us sitting on the outside looking in. Atlanta and Detroit will likely be the wildcard teams.

Well, the Giants lost tonight, that is another piece falling into place. Lions are next.

We need to break the Falcons soul next week.
