What’s that? Ah — Playoffs? Don’t talk about — playoffs? You kidding me? Playoffs? I just hope we can win a game!

Now, I am not saying this is likely. But after our win today and losses by the Bears, Falcons, Tampa, and possibly Giants and Lions, it is actually still a possibility!!!!

If Carolina can win the next 4 games, (ATL, @ Houston, Bucs, @ Nawlins)

and 2 of the following things don't happen

The Lions, Bears, and Falcons win more than 1 game.

The Giants win more than 2 games

The Seahawks win more than 3 games

We could go into the Tie-breaker for the wildcard seat:

1. Head-to-head, if applicable.

2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.

3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four.

4. Strength of victory.

5. Strength of schedule.

I would say our chances are about 1 in a million, but I am saying there is a chance. :D It's like thinking your going to win the lottery. Its so much fun to dream about.

Det and Chi hold the tiebreaker over us. Trust me, I've already figures it all out.

Good news is, is that if we tie at Atl at 8-8, we should hold the tiebreaker over them, as long as we meet all the other requirements we have.

I am secretly wishing for a complete collapse of both the Lions and the Bears.....

Luckily it might be coming true for the Bears.

That's actually not quite true. If those two do collapse-and keep in mind both have to win to eliminate us, not just one, and Chicago is looking like they may do it and Det continues to flirt with collapse-the chances of us making the playoff are quite good. Atlanta is the only othe major threat with the way NY is playing, and we would hold the tiebreaker over them if we do our part.
