their defensive numbers were just as terrible as ours at the beginning of the year when they were pass happy like we were. outside of a couple bright spots there is very little talent on that defense. their numbers have improved a bit since then- but that's because they are passing less and playing possession football, not because they are actually any good. fox and The Golden Calf of Bristol have turned a garbage unit into something respectable.

Okay, I'm a The Golden Calf of Bristol homer and you're the exact opposite, so we're not going to see eye to eye on this. BUT...did the defense "bail him out" when they gave up 32 points to that same 2-59 team? If anything, today The Golden Calf of Bristol bailed his defense out. The one thing the pundits have been saying is that well, you can win with The Golden Calf of Bristol, but only if you play defense well and limit points. You can't win with The Golden Calf of Bristol in a shootout.
