i always wondered the same thing. maybe the bengals defense is so horrible that there leading tackler is only good enough to be a backup for us?

It's hard to be at the top of your game when you don't play. If he had played more, he would've gotten back in the groove. Just like Jarrett. Let him play more and he'd have shined even more.

Then again, Damione Lewis was better in spot duty.

I had high hopes for him, but I think it speaks more to the quality of our starters. Didn't he make some good plays on ST towards the end of the year?

he had 16 tackles and 1 FF last yr. , think the fumble came from a kick return.

if i remember right he was signed last year to take diggs spot. and diggs just out played him in training camp and kept his job, but im glad we kept him he adds some really good depth to our LBs

Ah yes, he caused the fumble in the last game against NO. Someone else picked it up and ran in for the TD, but he forced it.

I think the Panthers were shocked that Diggs stepped up and beat him for the starting job. Like others have said, Landon got so few opportunities to play this past year that it's easy to understand why we would be flat during the few opportunities he had...

It's nice to know he's there incase one of our guys goes down and he pushes Diggs to step up his game.
