Watch Morris Claiborne

From what I've seen of him, he's a safety in the making. Too big to play CB - or at least you'd ALWAYS have to match him up against the big WRs and ask him to play physical. I think smaller, quicker guys toast him.

there is no way in hell he would play safety.

He'll be drafted as a CB, no doubt, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's shifted to safety within a year or two.

unless he puts on some weight and learns to tackle. dude is a complete stick. he is known for his coverage and ball skills, nothing else.

That's my point - he's 185lbs, pretty much the extreme of what he could weigh in the NFL, and he doesn't look fast. If a team asks him to put on 15lbs do you think he'd be able to run with NFL WRs? I'm not so sure.

Either way I don't want him as a Panther.

how Hogan turns out is going to have a major impact on how big a need corner is... as it stands right now, corner is one of our bigger needs on defense, along with OLB and DT. For DT, we have an injured player coming back, two "promising" young guys who I doubt we give up on, and no real stud at DT. Seems like where we will be picking, OLB will be a huge reach.

Claiborne hasn't been impressive this game though. We'll see how things play out the rest of the game.
