Yep. I want Drummond as well. We desperately need a center.

With our luck, the lottery won't go our way.

To be honest...unless something happens in free agency or the cats really suprise and overacheive...they will have a top five pick.

The cats should just tank this year and next..cause look who is in next years draft!

Player Comparison: Kobe Bryant/James Harden

And in next year's draft we have two firsts..so if we don't win lottery we could use both first to move up. IF he is as advertised. Still a long way away though.

I doubt they use both to trade up, this team needs a huge influx of talent. The pick's protection is (top 12 protected in the 2013, 2014, and 2015, and unprotected in 2016.

The Bobcats also owe the Bulls a first round pick from the Tyrus Thomas trade with the Bulls. The protection on that pick is that Bulls receive the Bobcats' 2012 first-round pick (top 14 protected in 2012, top 12 protected in 2013, top 10 protected in 2014, top 8 protected in 2015, unprotected in 2016.

Shoot and pass. Serious answer.

Pass it better than Kemba, not sure about that.

Kemba's offensive game is ahead of DJ's coming out of college. Kemba can handle the ball better, create his own shot of the dribble better, get to the rim better, pass the ball better.

DJ may be a better spot up shooter but as a PG with the ball in hands so much you are going to have to create off the dribble. Whether that means creating room for your shot or creating room for someone else.

I agree with the bolded part. However, Kemba is not a good passer. I expect more than 4.5 assists per game from a guy that plays 37.5 minutes a game, particularly for a PG that can get into the paint so much. But those were Kemba's numbers last year.

Funny thing with DJ is he was considered a guy that got to the rim in the college game. He got into the pros (actually summer league play) and he got rejected time after time. DJ was smart enough and had enough skills shooting the ball to morph his game into the player he is today.

Kemba had an elevated draft status because of UCONN's championship run-- much like how Sean May had an elevated draft status because of his part of UNC's championship run. It was MJ-like retardation that the Bobs passed on Brandon Knight.

I guess a lot of it had to with the role of Kemba at UCONN. He had a young team and was asked to carry the load scoring wise. Distributing wasn't the top priority.

I probably give him too much credit passing wise but Kemba's ability to create off the dribble will cause havoc and create shots for others.

And as far as DJ being able to drive in college, it was nothing like Kemba's.

Kemba's on ball defense is also better than DJ's.

Hendo can be a great SG. Why do you guys doubt this? He is ALREADY one of the better defenders in the league. With more time on the court (not sharing it with Jackson) he's going to put up good numbers. I like his attitude.

I know the roster doesn't seem great, but I can see us upsetting some teams. You just never know. This team could click. They could have something to prove.

Kemba is probably a better defender than dj, though neither is going to make first team all defense any time soon.
