I voted for him. I always fill out two ballots, one homer ballot where I vote for every Panther I can possibly justify, and one ballot where I vote legitimately based on what I've seen. I voted for Cam, Smith, Kalil, and C. Johnson on both. Voted for both RB's, Gross, both safeties, and both TE's on the homer ballot.

Fan vote only counts for 1/3 of the vote. The other 2/3rds are by players and writers. So yeah it is an honor. If he gets in, he deserves it. It won't be because like some guys who get in based on past performances or because he is the popular choice. And coming from a small market team, the demographics play against him. In fact he has had to overcome a lot of negativity and bias against him. The fact that he run as much as he does, still plays against him as a QB with some folks. While many here are homers, your dislike of him since before the draft blinds you in a most negative unattractive manner. Very similar to a troll.

If he's not playing at a Pro Bowl level then they should just give everyone a free trip to Hawaii. He certainly deserves it as he is on a record setting pace. Mistakes? Sure, but to do what he's done under the circumstances he's done them under, no one is more deserving.

His TD to int ratio is in the red by one or two, buuuuuuuttttt his 10 td runs should be thrown into the passing td to int ratio and that would be pretty impressive with his yardage passing and rushing. There have been plenty of years where quarterbacks get in solely based on statistics and many instances where guys get in on popularity. Cam deserves it.....fug everybody on this homo board. We are stacked at every skill position on offense. Smith is the fing man too.
