Ndamukong Suh doesn’t eat people

Dear Taiwan: Please know that Ndamukong Suh doesn’t eat people

I believe that Ndamukong Suh(notes) was way, way out of line with his actions on Thanksgiving Day. I believe he deserves his two-game suspension. I believe he has some issues to work through.

However, after what I've just seen, I'm also willing to admit that we've gone too far in our criticism of Suh, because we've somehow given Taiwanese animators the idea that Ndamukong Suh dismembers people and then feasts on their flesh.

Do what you do, Next Media Animation:

The depiction of what he did to Jake Delhomme actually isn't far off. Things get weird when Suh is able to generate and launch some kind of death ball at Jay Cutler. And then, they re-enact what Suh did to Evan Dietrich-Smith on Thanksgiving, and if it had really gone down that way, it probably would've drawn more than a two-game suspension. Roger Goodell has very little tolerance for human cannibalism.

    • Karlaftis and Danna have been pretty inconsistent so teams have been doubling Jones and able to contain their pass rush.   But the good thing is that yesterday, we schemed well against Steve Spags Defense, Canales married the surrounding personnel with his QB through play designs within his comfort zone and was able to get downfield at will.  He was able to execute higher difficulty throws and look a lot more comfortable.  It tells me that Canales has a good system in mind, and had an edge gameplanning wise against Spagnuolo - which is nice to see.  It's a bit to see-saw at times with either going way too pass heavy or way too run heavy, but I think he's finding out what works.  It takes time to have it come together, and sure, I could see regression happen against a better front-7, but this was good for the entire system gelling.
    • This was evident first two weeks of season. I don’t see any issues with physical tools since he came back. I think he is a player that must play with confidence to overcome those size limitations and he’s doing that.
    • Still 3-10 on passes over 15 yards.  At least he's not scared to merely attempt them anymore.  Where I see improvement is the 10-15 yard range.  He was 6-6.  Bryce of old was scatter shot on anything beyond 10 yards and the further out, the worse the accuracy.
