Am I the only one that notices TRD will cower out of an argument the moment he starts losing, and instead of being man enough to admit he doesn't have the slightest clue on God's green earth what he's taking about, he just goes and spews his nonsense in another thread?

Lol. What a joke.

I'm on my phone donkey...how did I lose an argument in which I'm the only person who has presented any evidence to back up the claims...

Romo is top 7 in almost all QB statistics, I think he's having the 4th best season.

Vs

Romo is a choker lol remember a few years ago?

Which is more credible?

Miami had a good D before Moore started and was competitive in games.....they got some bad opponents and allowed Moore to be a roleplayer in the Dolphins winning a few games. Being a roleplayer and not causing your team to implode.....doesn't mean you inspired your team to play great and are a true leader on the team.

Moore is more than a roleplayer on the Dolphins right now and your insistence that he is not inspiring players seems to disagree entirely with what his coaches, team mates, and fans have indicated. Perhaps you do know more about Moore and the Dolphins than the people he plays with, but I think I'm going to side with them.

Plus if you'd watched the games, you'd know Moore is much more than a roleplayer, he's making plays and moving that offense. That isn't to say he is the future at quarterback there, but he's making a strong case for a chance to start next year.

None of this should take away from Cam Newton, but it seems like some people around here can't handle the possibility that somebody else is also playing well, and maybe even better...

Alright. Now explain to me what happened the other 346,279,114 times you've done the same thing?

Notice how quickly he flips from using stats as the end all be all of an argument (I.e. Seriously that tebows 4 completion game was better than Rodgers because of an ESPN stat) from then claiming they don't tell the story when explaining cam's rushing TDs (those could have been scored by any running back). And then stats are completely meaningless if they show that Moore didn't play up to par (I mean guys did you see Revis totally cheat when he intercepted Matt?!?!).

How does a rookie of the week thread turn into a Moore debate?

And no matter what anyone says, Moore is playing for his job. He is horrible this year and he likely will never start again. The pressure may be off the Dolphins to make the playoffs, but Moore still has plenty of pressure to play well.

Miami's D has allowed an average of 6 pts per game in his 3 wins.

Reggie Bush outscored those teams in all 3 of those games.

Matt Moore has not inspired and put this team on his back like TRD was pimping.....that is not reality. Moore is doing a good job of doing what is asked of him and not turning it over.

Miami's schedule got easier. They have a great defense. That equaled some wins. Henne was moving the offense early as well.....tougher opponents early rather than late.]

I am a big Moore fan. But if you have watched Miami....what has gotten them wins is a change in competition more than a change in QBs

Mike Pouncey:

The respect that quarterback Matt Moore demands in the Dolphins’ huddle reminds center Mike Pouncey of one player and one player only. You guessed it: The Golden Calf of Bristol.

“I only had one guy act like that, and it was The Golden Calf of Bristol,” Pouncey said. “He’s fiery, man. Real fiery.”

“I look at [Moore] as a quarterback who’s going to be here for a while,” Pouncey said. “I hope he’s here, and I love having him in the huddle. He’s a great quarterback and one of the main reasons why we’re winning right now.”

“He’s just a great quarterback,” Pouncey said. “Outside of throwing the ball well, he has intangibles in the huddle. He’s going out there and doing a phenomenal job, and as long as Matty keeps playing well, we’ll keep winning.”

Jason Taylor:

“He brings energy to the team, and he’s playing his butt off,” defensive end Jason Taylor said. “You can’t really take that away from him.”

Icognito:

"He was kind of an unknown quantity when he first showed up," left guard Richie Incognito said. "But he was a good leader from the get-go. It's not like he came in and was real quiet and feeling things out. When Matt stepped in, he was the man."

John Beason:

"He can play," Beason said last summer. "He's a gamer."

Some other videos of Reggie, Sporano, JT, Bell, Long talking about how much spark and respect Moore has for them...but I think you get the point.

When did this section go from Carolina Panthers to Miami Dolphins?

Funny. Reminds me of how teammates would speak of Jake Delhomme, and it was true he was a fiery leader and a likeable guy. Those attributes though couldn't help make him elite, and look how he ended up.

We're talking something different. If you want to see how well he's playing, look at the tape. If you want to see the impact he's had on his teammates, which is what were talking about, read the quotes, watch some videos, etc.

It always goes back to Moore because that's just what other people like to talk about.
