I know some of you are under the impression that this was his ex. Even though the article isn't clear, I assumed that they weren't ex's at the time, this was his way of letting her know that they were breaking up and that he knew about her cheating on him.

Yea that's what I was thinking. She had probably been talking about getting the tat for a while and when he found out she banged his buddy he finally was like "so you finally ready to get that tattoo you're always talking about? Aslan is very disappointed
