there are numerous factors they had working in their favor to turn around the offense so quickly that they won't have this upcoming offseason. i'm sure people could easily figure out what they are though sometimes I think people intentionally keep themselves uninformed so they can continue on being blindly optimistic

Thank God for you...Apparently a pro bowl oline, pro bowl Wr, and pro bowl RB's aren't easy to build around...All we needed was a QB.

You have no clue that you can run a cover 2 out of a 4-3 and nickel right? And the thread above was sarcasm.

don't talk to me about "no clue".. you didn't even come close to responding to that question correctly..

cover 2 is not a formation moron it's a scheme out of a formation...

the formation is irrelevant when talking about what the players jobs are in that formation, hence the difference between man coverage/blitzing/zone blitzing -vs- a traditional cover 2 shell that Fox ran..

and you dare to call someone a moron when you can't even pick up that difference..

matter of fact, it doesn't really matter if it's a 3-4 or a 4-3.. you aren't even in the ballpark kid.. the formation isn't even relevant to this discussion.. you can't get your head out of your ass to realize the players roles are what you should be discussing, not where they line up..

No were not running a 3-4 Lebeau defense I'm sorry to break your heart...A 3-4 is 3 linemen and 4 linebackers...Were running the same formation it's not like were transitioning from a 4-3 to a 3-4 because that requires different personnel...The diff between Mario Williams standing or being in a 3 point.

Correct me if I'm wrong bleys do we have 4 down linemen? Do we use 3 line backers? then that is a 4-3...You can go man, cover 2, cover 3, cover 4, etc...All out of a 4-3...

no poo.. congrats on knowing the positions in a 4-3..

now can you tell me the difference between running a lot of man coverage and blizes -vs- the role players use in cover 2 and staying in their zone?

and then can you tell me why the Ravens defense didn't change -vs- how Rivera's philosophy changed drastically from Fox?

ugh. another reading comprehension fail of yours.

i didn't say that we had switched to a lebeau 3-4.

i said the switch in scheme was almost as drastic as switching to one.

meh....i'm done for a while.

time for more important matters like eating, hanging out with the family, and flossing my toes.

completely off in left field aren't you?

once you realize the difference between Man -vs- Cover 2 and the difference in each players role, you'll understand talking about formation is totally irrelevant per this discussion..

per 3-4, 4-3.. those zones don't change.. hence why you're playing the fool for bringing the formation up.. ;)

and then you'll realize Fox and Rivera's philosophy's vary quite a bit and the Ravens is an extremely failed attempt to raise anything close to a relevant point..

AND THEN.. you'll realize every thread you start and every post you make is utterly hilarious to fans who actually watch football..

Bro im not just talking about the cb's...If you run a cover 2 out of a 4-3 yes the cb's responsibilities are the same...The linemen and line backers in a 4-3 are a complete 180 to the linemen and linebackers in a 3-4...And you told me that we dont play a 4-3 but we run a cover 2...BUT WE PLAY A fuging 4-3 DEFENSE... a cover 2 is not a formation.
