If you are not baking your own you are missing out,

Have had a bread machine for a few years but have not used it to it's full potential. Have made some basic bread.

A few months go I discovered a great pizza crust...use the dough cycle.

So this weekend, decided I wanted to make french bread to go with the eggplant parmesan I was making. Instead found a recipe for herb bread. Mixed in the dough cycle...formed in in to 2 long loaves, made a few cuts and baked. OMG....the best stuff I have ever had! Looked artistic.

Don't know why I would ever buy bread in the store again. (Unless I want something full of preservatives with inferior taste that will last 3 weeks without refrigeration. Can we say embalmed?)
