The Golden Calf of Bristol is a winner.

No, the Broncos defense puts him in a position to be able to only have to make a handful of plays each game. HUGE difference....the defense is why The Golden Calf of Bristol is winning. If you switched The Golden Calf of Bristol and Cam, the Panthers would be 0-11 and the Broncos would be 8-3/9-2

Never said he is a good coach. He is an average coach who gets a lot out of his players. I'm pretty sure he is above .500 as W/L. What do you think about RR who is 3-8 so far?? I'm done defending Foxball

Foxball doesn't need defending. His record is all you need to look at. 3 winning seasons out of 9 is piss poor. That's not "average". Thats below average at best.

the thing is, The Golden Calf of Bristol is protecting the ball and eating clock, shortening the game considerably. as long as his defense holds other teams offenses to low scoring games, they have a real chance to win.

that being said, I can't wait to see this team play new england

Fwiw, The Golden Calf of Bristol is a rookie. He goes out and does what he is asked to do and doesn't turn the ball over. He might end up a decent qb in the right system.

The Golden Calf of Bristol is not a rookie. I don't understand this logic. Not like he was hurt his entire rookie season... hell he even played some games that year.

The Golden Calf of Bristol may be the perfect QB to run Fox's unbearable system.

I love The Golden Calf of Bristol, but good lord watching that team is like watching the terrible Panthers teams over the last several years. The difference is, they play in the 2nd worst division in football and we played in the 2nd hardest.(arguably the hardest)

    • Hornets actually have good young talent, but they just can't play good team ball.   Lee doesn't look like a good hire at HC so far.
    • Apparently it did no good. Getting spanked by the Wizards…again!
    • I'd be looking at mid to late round QBs every single draft simply because the potential ROI is so high. Hell, even if I have an entrenched starter and backup that wouldn't change the equation. Hit on one and I'd trade my entrenched backup to a desperate team and now I have a quality backup in a rookie contract to protect cap space and a potential asset to trade down the road or hell even develop into a starter if my starter is aging or has a career detailing injury or maybe the young guy simply proves to be better at some point. Once you get the the 4th or 5th round you're basically throwing darts at the board hoping to hit on something at that point. Most of those guys will prove to not be long for the league anyway.  I'm not saying reach on a guy just because he's a QB but if I have similarly rated prospects on the board and we're talking about a FB, a blocking TE, and a  OG with limited upside, well that's a no brainer to me. Roll the dice on the QB.
