It was a thread started by Panthro because he wanted to get my prediction in writing.

Everyone lowballed Cam because they don't respect his game.

I'm demanding everyone who lowballed him to issue a formal, written apology and to Cam apologizing for the racial bias their predictions had.

So the argument is that turnovers explain the cause & effect relationship of our offensive and defensive YPP?

To some extent, I agree with that (although it's an oversimplification, just like YPP) but on the same note how many turnovers has our defense generated to give our offense short fields?

I could just as easily argue that our offensive YPP is poor in part because our defense has failed to generate enough turnovers.

When Cam throws at least one interception, we are 0-8. When he throws no interceptions, we are 3-0. This is because our defense until recently has failed to generate turnovers, so if our offense turns the ball over once, we're sunk.

I'm not saying our offense is perfect, we have some efficiency problems especially in the 2nd half of games... but to say our defense is performing poorly as a result of our offensive inefficiency is silly.

I had Cam's numbers better than Stafford's rookie year because I respect Cam's game so much and know that he was just so much more polished as a passer combined with the friendly offense and weapons we acquired.
