Cam's day

You're starting to catch on about what matters.

Baltimore's defense still lost to Jacksonville's pooty ass offense and allowed more points. Ours didn't.

Pittsburg's defense allowed more points than ours did to Indianapolis.

The Houston Texans who are "perceived" as having a great defense allowed more points than ours to the Saints. They allowed 40. We allowed 30, and really 27 considering Rivera's gift.

Houston even allowed 29 to Baltimore's offense who are not "perceived" as having one of the better offenses, but "average", as well as allowing more points than we do on average.

You are cherry picking games.

If you take our points allowed and compare it with all of our opponents average points allowed you would see that our team is allowing our opposition to perform 123% against their average. Of course, like YPP, that isn't just a defensive number because of pick sixes and special teams TDs.

Our "offense" is performing at 103% against our opponents average for points allowed and that is with only one special teams or defensive TD to help inflate that stat.

Looks like PFFL disappeared but I will answer his question about who I think has good defenses despite pooty or maybe average offenses.

Miami, NYJ, Seattle, Cleveland, Jaguars, Bengals, and Baltimore.

If we had anyone of these team's defense we would be in the playoff hunt.

Miami's defense has only been good as of late, about the same time the offense took off.

Here's what PFF had to say about Cam's day:

Newton On Point Again

Cam Newton (+5.1) put in another performance to be proud of Sunday against the Colts. With his main concern obviously being to regain first place in Khaled Elsayed’s Race for Rookie of the Year, he looks to end the inconsistency that has hampered his young career. Despite consistently coming under pressure (15 of 34 drop backs) he looked poised in the pocket and efficiently completed six of his nine attempts for 62 yards. Nothing highlights his ability more than the pass he made at 11:57 in the fourth quarter on 3rd-and-7. Unable to step into the throw with Dwight Freeney in his face, Newton put a laser on Steve Smith running a deep in for 18 yards. With Newton, it’s obviously not just about his passing ability and, though Carolina would perhaps prefer he not take off so much, his scrambling ability was on show again as he added nine carries for 53 yards and a touchdown to his already impressive season totals. He also forced another missed tackle, taking his season total up to 10 … just two fewer than running back Deangelo Williams.

I hope they update Madden real quick-like.. I'm tired of him over throwing his receivers.. I feel like I have terrets most of the time when I play.. I swear I was playing a girl where I talked poo to her all night when The Golden Calf of Bristol beat me after completing 1 pass...

Thanks for contributing Catman. If you only posted that in 1 thread, I might not have found it but since it's all over now, I can finally read what PFF thinks about Cam's day!!!!!!

You're welcome... since you post all your anti-Cam propaganda in every thread that mentions him, I have to follow you around and set the record straight.

I would take what PFF thinks over what you think any day.
