Rivera wtf are you doing there. Call timeout right away and you had PLENTY of time to take a shot at the endzone

He was too busy smiling and clapping. When I saw that I wanted to punch him in his fuging mouth. What is there to be happy about? I said it before and I will say it agian. something is wrong with this staff... I can't put my finger on it just yet.

Terrible

Someone gotta tell CAM to calm down after taking a couple hits. CHICO

Yeah, let's try to fix everything that isn't right with Cam because we know he really isn't the problem with this team but it's just easier to focus on him.

I had a feeling the Panthers' defense wasn't going to give the offense the pleasure of going into half time being up by 10. The quickness inwhich they gave back the TD to the Colts must have been a record so far.

What did you think would happen after the Panthers' Defense gave up a quick TD after they scored one?

I guess one day some of you will understand how one thing affects everything else. They keep the Colts out of the endzone on that drive, and the Panthers are probably ahead 24-0 at halftime.

Oh well.

We are used to this.. Defense has allowed points after almost every successful offensive drive. It's nothing new! Thank you for pointing it out though. Perhaps we can discuss draft picks with you while the playoffs are going on... as the Cowboys will be sitting at home along with the Panthers, but with a worse draft pick...

Listen, if Carolina wanted to win this game, they would be pounding the ball with D-Will and J-Stew every chance they get. So it looks like they want to lose today.

Exactly. They're running the ball and wearing out our D, we aren't and their D is fresh and energetic.

This is why we suck so badly in the 4th quarter.

    • Agreed on the last part. They can’t afford to lose all these games with Martin and Perets.
    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.
