Best gold buyer in Charlotte/Gastonia?

I am selling some of my old gold.

Mostly Panda coin jewelry and gold chains.

Anyone have any experience with some of those places?

I am trying to not get stuck, and those fast talking bastards will do it.

I have heard that the best deals are the companies that have you mail the gold in. Although I imagine you have to be sure its a reputable company.

Most jewelers will buy your gold. Hit a few different stores and you'll get a median price for what your gold "is worth." Then go to the highest bidder.

I've read a lot of good things, and had a good experience with, GoldFellows.com. Got 141.00 for a crappy 10k white gold high school ring I never wore, and got the money within a week.

I agree with DD as well, mail-ins are usually better as long as you know they have a solid rep.

I actually went to faucet foundry in Gastonia and some place on franklin blvd.

I ended up selling to FF. I was happy with the pay out and got more than I thought i would have.

Might take some one ounce silver coins next week.

That was probably me. I have used Northern Refineries for a few years now. They give you the best price on Precious metals.

DO NOT go to the "WE BUY GOLD" places! They are the biggest rip-off! You will be lucky to get a 1/4 of the value!

I have about 2+ pounds of Sterling Silver to send to them. I have been holding off to get more old coins and for the price of silver to go back up. (I normally like to deal about 10 pounds at a time.)
