I recommend this site also. Local company with great quality TV mounts, HDMI, anything you need at really good prices. Located on the road behind Concord Mills and you can just pick it up there and don't have to pay for shipping if you are in the Charlotte area.

That all depends on viewing distance. That number varies between someone 6 ft away from the TV vs 14 ft.

For example, I have a 51" TV, so if I want to fully experience the resolution of 1080, I need to be sitting about 7 feet from my TV. (currently my setup is about 8' away from the couch.)
