Wow....were to start. You somehow managed to type a paragraph that is one most incoherent things I've ever read and prove my point at the same time. We knew very little about Cam coming in but yet your stunned when he's says something considered remotely intelligent, Dalton and Gabbert don't get this sort of treatment.

Also do you know what acute means....obviously not. Read a dictionary before you go on message boards babbling about how smart someone is or isn't.

Where and you're. I love irunny.

pretty sure when you start correcting other people's English you should make sure you haven't butchered it up yourself. you know...just to keep yourself from looking like a total ass.

1. He is supposed to be upset with losses. How would you feel if he came up to the podium with a big smile on his face. You would probably complain even more.

2. It's possible to be upset about 1 game you just lost and optimistic about the next game. On game day he is giving his all, smiling, e.t.c.

3. Getting the "feeling" that he feels he has done his part is the same thing as saying he has a "fake" smile. He has never pointed anyone out(matter of fact defended people), never said he has done enough and always said that "he" has to play better even after wins.

1. Being upset with a loss and showing some fire/emotion is one thing, being in front of a podium projecting dejection and responding with crap like "man, i dont even know...but..." is entirely another. I mean regardless of him being a rookie and all, he has embraced wholeheartedly being the "leader" of this team. You may not understand what is involved in leadership (although you do seem to have a firm grasp on how I personally would react) but leadership is so much more than action on the field. But relax pal..I'm not dishing on him, nor his play. I simply said (in a roundabout way) that I wish he had more of a "leader" mentality in THIS press conference. That means, not acting like some dude on lithium who is so bothered by the state of things that they can barely lift their eyelids.

2. True, but then again I never referred to the next game nor gameday. This was a thread about the "press conference" and I gave my (however unpopular) opinions on the "press conference"..not on gameday, or Saturdays..nor anything else.

3. As you mention, he never called anyone out (and I'm pretty sure I said the exact same thing)...but if you read my post again and understand the above point that the post was a reply in reference to " this press conference" you may be able to understand a bit more. You may not agree and that's cool, I wont insult you for your difference of opinion, but as I watch this press conference and taking into consideration his tone, words, demeanor...etc...it sure came off to me like he was indirectly shifting blame/taking shots at other sections of the team. Just because he says that he himself needs to make changes does not mean that he also does not believe other areas played poorly and need improvement.(and frankly I agree 100%) I'm not a fat ass lineman, but if I were, and my QB came out and said he felt safer running himself rather than standing in the pocket under my protection, I would take a small amount of offense to it (even though it may be very true)

Again, this may be over the heads of some...but I'm not really dissing the man. Simply stating that I did not like his attitude in this, and a few past press conferences. Loss or not, rookie or not, close game or not, so bummed out you are ready to commit suicide or not...showing that dejection to fellow team members, national media, and fans is not what leadership is about.

it's funny no one seem to question any of the other QB's intellect but with no proof to prove Cam isn't a smart young man, we're told to believe Cam isn't. And some are surprised and amazed by how "bright" he is as if it's a shock.

Yup, it's sad but even in this day and age a black QB has to prove he's smart.
