i don't ever want him to be satisfied with losses. i want him pissed and i want it to be a nasty taste in his mouth that he never is content with having again.

i don't want someone that losses well. i want someone that wins.

i remember when people were talking about QBs coming here and some people actually wanted players who had experience losing because it would somehow help them. meh...

i want this guy hungry and pissed when he comes back and i want that attitude to be infectious. i want that whole team to never be satisfied with losing or happy with it. i would take a whole team of people that act like him every day as long as they have the attitude during the week that they will accept only excellence from themselves and they bring everything they have out onto the field every sunday.

cam's an infectious personality and i have no doubt that they will take on his attitude towards losing.

Yeah, I actually like that Cam has to go through this experience earlier in his career. This is a guy who has been "blessed" his whole life up until trouble at Florida, but even there his team was winning. Losing this much is probably helping build some character that he has never had to develop before. Next year this time I bet his interviews are 100% better whether it be a win or loss. I wish I could coach him.

This. I mean, let's think here a minute. If he came out, blew it up, played well, and we had 7 or 8 wins, there is MORE of a chance that he may become complacent, and therefore, stop his growth sooner. Now, I don't think he would regardless, because it doesn't seem to be his character. But it is kind of nice that he is going through these losses now. Next year, during OTAs and TC, he will remember this season, how it felt. It will not only make him want to improve his game, but it will improve his leadership.

From a personal experience, my high school hadn't won more than 3 or 4 games every year for a decade. We won 4 games my freshman year. We won 6 games my sophomore year. We went to the 3rd round of the playoffs junior year. My senior year, we were in the Eastern Championship game. The leadership my senior year from me and the other two captains was insane. We remembered our first years and how that felt. We didn't want that to happen again.

Hopefully Cam will get the C next season, and hopefully he will light that fire under the rest of the team's collective ass, and we come out with a fury.

Very interesting comments on the differences of the collegiate game and the pro game. Kid is more bright and in a very unique way than he gets credit.

You quote leads one to believe that you naturally believed Cam wasn't a smart man and you are somehow shocked he is able to speak intelligently. This is never assumed with any other quarterback but for whatever reason there's something about him that causes belief what that "something" is I won't speculate. Then again this is coming from someone that said "more bright" so I probably shouldn't take it to serious.

To elaborate on my point: if somebody asked you, or anyone for the matter, what are some of the qualities you like about Cam? I don't think a common response would pertain to anything cerebral. That isn't to be taken as people think he is dumb or uneducated, and even with that said I still wouldn't describe him as an intellectual type. Cam has a kinda acute.. or not extactly sure how I would describe it, but somethings he says are very bright and his mind seems to work in a different way then most. It's not really a is he smart or anything but more of a the way he seems to think is very unique and refreshing.

It's almost like what he says in the quote, he's kinda building a relationship soy he fan base and we are just getting to really know this guy as most of us didn't follow auburn football as closely as we do Panthers football.

A woman's face with nature's own hand painted,

Hast thou, the master mistress of my passion;

A woman's gentle heart, but not acquainted

With shifting change, as is false women's fashion:

An eye more bright than theirs, less false in rolling,

Gilding the object whereupon it gazeth;

A man in hue all hues in his controlling,

Which steals men's eyes and women's souls amazeth.

And for a woman wert thou first created;

Till Nature, as she wrought thee, fell a-doting,

And by addition me of thee defeated,

By adding one thing to my purpose nothing.

But since she prick'd thee out for women's pleasure,

Mine be thy love and thy love's use their treasure.

Shakespeare bitches :P

Wow....were to start. You somehow managed to type a paragraph that is one most incoherent things I've ever read and prove my point at the same time. We knew very little about Cam coming in but yet your stunned when he's says something considered remotely intelligent, Dalton and Gabbert don't get this sort of treatment.

Also do you know what acute means....obviously not. Read a dictionary before you go on message boards babbling about how smart someone is or isn't.

The best part of all of his interviews is that his answers somehow make the person asking the question appear to be an idiot. Does any media person honestly expect Cam to blow up and just "out" his teammates?

How do you feel about losing? No QB in his right mind will say they feel satisfied with a morale victory.

Any one tired of the "execution" answer from Cam or Chico? consider this:

- every offensive play is "designed" to score or gain field position in certain circumstances - less than that is an execution failure.

- every defensive scheme is designe to prevent a score or yardage gain - less than that is an execution failure.

a·cute   /əˈkyut/ Show Spelled[uh-kyoot] Show IPA

adjective

1. sharp or severe in effect; intense: acute sorrow; an acute pain.

2. extremely great or serious; crucial; critical: an acute shortage of oil.

3. (of disease) brief and severe ( opposed to chronic).

4. sharp or penetrating in intellect, insight, or perception: an acute observer.

5. extremely sensitive even to slight details or impressions: acute eyesight.

Not to sure I ever "assumed" Cam was not smart. You did in fact "assume" that I thought that because I never said it.

Jesus Christ. This is what you said.

"Cam has a kinda acute...."

Its an ADJECTIVE. You may want to look up adjective too. You have to use it in conjunction with another word for it to make sense. A correct sentence would have been "Cam has an acute sense of articulating the difference between the college and pro game".The way you used the adjective is the equivalent of saying something like" Cam newton senses.."....and ending the sentence there.

I didn't assume anything, you said it. Read what you wrote....whatever I'm done here. I'm wasting my time and my iq level feels like its dropping

Man.. what do you have against me..?

I said Cam is brighter than he gets credit. Meaning, that I not only think that he is bright, but I think he is so bright that it should be mentioned more often.. Said nothing about book smarts as I stated earlier, I don't think his brightness is in book smarts but more how he thinks about things and what things seem to be most important to him... How does that mean I said he is or isnt smart?

as far as the usage of the word acute.. seriously man.. you just want to attack me personally so bad.. I used it as an incomplete thought thats why I put the "..."
