ugggh dont compare davis to witherspoon. in my mind we should have both right now and shouldnt have kept morgan. what a terrible terrible decision. we would have a sickeningly fast linebacking corps.

Kemo > Buckner (Not Jenks @ the same postion, but as far as DT's go)

Harris > Minter (I may get flamed for this, but outside of outstanding leadership, I think as Panthers fans we think Minter was better than he was)

i can agree with that. minter was deff a better leader, but as far as talent the two are realy close.

also i thnk johnson is a 10 sack a year type guy if he gets a chance to start, and assuming we keep peppers he would be a great compliment to him. much like rucker was

Yeah, whenever one of your linebackers is even considered for a second to play safety, he is a really fast linebacker. And when the other one is Beason, it makes for good times. I'm not completely sold on Diggs straight up speed, but he sure does manage to get to the ball fairly quickly, which should make him (and the rest of our LB's) flourish in a meeks defense.

Side Note: Has Cato June signed with anyone yet? He was great in Indy, not so much in Tampa, and now we got Meeks as a DC. I know LB isn't our highest priority exactly, but if the price is right...

It'll be a while before we're that good again. I'm thinking 3-5 years. Makes you wonder how Baltimore, Chicago (slipping) and Pittsburgh keep it up year after year though.

I think your wrong on that one. We have just as much talent if not more. We have one of the best CB and LB cores in the League and our D-line is full of up and coming talent. Just need a DC that dose not make his CBs play off 15 yards on every play. It was scary how better the Defense was in the 2nd half of the Playoff game when Fox took over. It just shows you how bad Trgo had become.
