Cam feels safer running than in the pocket

Every QB gets blindsided no matter who is on their o-line. I saw Brady get destroyed last week. This was not a swipe at the o-line. Just the truth. But the fact is Cam is very patient and doesn't run every chance he gets. He has shown true maturity in the pocket this year and will only get better.

Imagine standing still and having a 300lb guy crush you from your blindside and you have no idea it was going to happen. Or would you rather have some momentum and be able to run away and get down before the hit? I think most QBs that have any athleticism at all would rather run a few yards and slide rather than stand still and risk getting killed.

Yep. That's what I see when I see Cam in the pocket. Unabashed raw terror.

Troll.

Are you signing that remark, troll? Or calling me a troll because you dissagree? Stuff it. I have a right to an opinion. I have a right to express that opinion. It differs from yours so you say "troll". That is all you can say? I will call you a troll. I know you are but what am I.

I truely hope Newton develops into a decient QB. He just aint there yet. I can understand his fear of NFL.

Like you said, standing in the pocket gets you hit by a 280- 330 lb linemen versus running and dealing with a guy with who you are as big or bigger. Get hit from behind or see who is coming at you and avoiding direct contact. CRA was right as well, blind side hits which you aren't prepared for are more dangerous than the hits you can anticipate and avoid. He is just confirming what I have been saying for months. Now you hear it from the horse's mouth.

For all you naysayers who don't think we should draft Kalil, listen to what your QB says about this line.

Not saying I know more than the experts, but the few times I have watched Kalil I haven't been impressed. I don't want to take a guy just because of his name. Seems like all the draft guys like him though.
