if people report his posts, how long would it take for mods to get in and ban him and clean it up? it can't take too long, can it?

the fact that you don't have to have an actual email address to join is one of the things that makes it easy for him to skirt around the rules.

add in the fact that he can go so long without having anything done to him b/c some mods will see that it's him and just keep on acting like it's no big deal.

it's only going to get worse during the holidays because mods have lives and aren't getting paid for their time and won't be spending much time in here so he'll pretty much have free reign.

I can appreciate stats as much as anyone but it is very apparent where the problem is with this team.I will not sugar coat anything in my post,the problem with this organization does not appear to have been John Fox or our present coaching staff(which may have to be tweeked at seasons end)but higher up,much higher up.Some of it can be corrected(get rid of Hurney)and some can't(JR),anyone who remembers our early years and formation can remember almost immediate success and who was responsible for the most part and that was Bill Polan which he has now done with several teams.This problem with our defence will take several years to correct and i don't have faith in Hurney to direct our draft.The only way i can see to get JR's attention is to not attend another game until Hurney is gone,we cannot afford to miss on a single draft choice at this stage.I hate it for all our loyal fans but they deserve better and heres hoping for better days ahead.

Some clarity on your response. We started off in 1995 with the supplemental draft and obtained a number of good players but also a bunch of journeymen and players other teams were glad to get rid of. We had a good draft but largely built our initial success off free agents because the thought was that unless we are good right away we won't attract fans and be successful. The goal was be successful right away without a long term plan for success. Polian's job was not build a consistent winner but more of a flash in the pan and he was gone right away. That strategy resulted in 6 non winning seasons in a row between 1997 and 2002.

Hurney gets promoted, Fox comes in and suddenly we win in 2003 and 2005. Still the issue was that we missed with a number of free agents and didn't use the draft to our best effect. Starting in 2008 and expanding in 2009 we went to a largely draft oriented approach with only a few free agents and not any big signings. Hurney isn't the problem other than he hired the guys who scout talent and coach the team. If our draft sucks, he is just doing what he is told by Richardson, Morrison, his coaches and the scouts. If the team loses he is only tangentially responsible. Richardson will not fire Hurney as long as he is doing what Jr wants him to do. Being a former player, he is more involved in the team's decisions than many owners not named Jones.

Have we missed with some drafts?? Absolutely, what team doesn't?? As far as I am concerned picking Cam this year makes up for the Edwards and Brown mishaps.
