Stats are worthless. Example: Jake averaged 12.7 pics per season. How many does Cam have. Keep in mind, we still have 1/3rd of the season to go.

I can appreciate stats as much as anyone but it is very apparent where the problem is with this team.I will not sugar coat anything in my post,the problem with this organization does not appear to have been John Fox or our present coaching staff(which may have to be tweeked at seasons end)but higher up,much higher up.Some of it can be corrected(get rid of Hurney)and some can't(JR),anyone who remembers our early years and formation can remember almost immediate success and who was responsible for the most part and that was Bill Polan which he has now done with several teams.This problem with our defence will take several years to correct and i don't have faith in Hurney to direct our draft.The only way i can see to get JR's attention is to not attend another game until Hurney is gone,we cannot afford to miss on a single draft choice at this stage.I hate it for all our loyal fans but they deserve better and heres hoping for better days ahead.

i don't think we're quite as far off as you think. hurney has some lame duck picks (all GMs do) but he's been fantastic in the 1st round throughout his career.

i could see six of our seven picks going towards defense. add a free agency period to that and the return of beason and edwards (possibly davis) and the defense could be top 15.

think about our offensive performances and factor in a top 15 defense on the other side of the ball and fap fap fap. next year is gonna be great.
