I Can't Take Chico Serious

Hard to take anyone seriously who thinks what goes on in the locker room behind closed doors is remotely similar to how they act in a press conference.

Oh really... I never knew a press conference calls for you to be on your best behavior

He's the same regardless... why wouldn't he be. Purpose of putting on a front??? For who? For what?

I remember an interview with Coach Rivera after he was first hired. He stated that he is a calm man on the sideline, you won't see any yelling or big emotional displays from him. No Cowher or Chuckie action. I have noticed, though, that he does approach players on the sideline and calmly has his say, whether encouragement or warning or direction, and gets back to the game. He doesn't let anything linger or build up (ie Shannahan-yuck).

I'm glad he is calm. I don't like the spitting, yelling, or demonstrative coaches.

Watch DeAngelo's weekly streaming show, he's been asked on several occasions what Rivera said to them after the game, during halftime, etc.. when the locker room door is closed, Rivera opens up on these guys.

When you start ranting and raving, you've lost control... Rivera's not the type to lose control.

ugh.

different settings call for a different tone.

why would he be the same regardless? anyone with any dimension to their personality and a knowledge of how to deal with people would know that and know how to do that.

maybe that's your problem.
