I Can't Take Chico Serious

Well I think it's too early to tell anything but a couple things come to mind.

1. Rivera seems like a coach of actions. Something along hte lines of if you keep messing up I'll replace you, or sit you (Goodson). Simple as that, it doesn't take take or outward expression to have your team take you seriously.

2. We are in a rebuilding year and Rivera has no bond with these young players. The last thing he wants to do is piss someone off, like Hardy and not have them play for him like some teams (49ers last year). Also once Rivera picks his guys and has more time with the team I believe he will also have more expectations and it will be more of a letdown/disappointing if things aren't going right than it would be right now. Rivera will become more comfortable and more expectations/expression will come, be patient.

explain what personal experience you've had with the players/coaches/locker room or cite your source that have led you to this bold conclusion.

or if you have neither please explain what synapses in your brain failed to fire causing you to write something so abysmally moronic.

Agreed, I expected some Mike Singletary anger, but we're only getting Fox.

I mean, it's not like he doesn't have a reason to be ripping heads off.

I was a fan of Singletary's approach until I started feeling like he began making decisions and scenes because the behavior became expected of him... Like the night he pulled Alex Smith and then put him back in after yelling at him and embarrassing him on the sidelines.

Also, the pulling your pants down incident in the locker room... Yeah... I don't think it worked out well in the long run.

Singletary went bat poo insane.

Also keep in mind there is a very good chance that JR has certain expectations of Rivera as far as image and presentation goes. JR seemed intent on changing the image of the Panthers coach in terms of media accessibility, but I don't think he wanted to hire a guy that would just go off on players on the sidelines or in press conferences, but I bet you Rivera has much more freedom in private.

River is trying to find his guys, he hasn't been here for years to form a bond with these players, like he said in the beginning of the season, no body is safe and he'll go through everyone. You don't need personal experiences or sources this isn't a stat set in stone, you sound like a fuging idiot. This is a comment, not a proclamation. A new coach doesn't have as strong as a bond with players as an older coach would have. This is pretty self explanatory and it'd take a moron not to understand. Bonds between coaches and players don't form in 9 games or 2-3 months, sorry.
