My disappointment has been better since I lowered my expectations of the 2011 Panthers to "suck".

Agree. And anybody watching last week when the Panthers were up 24 to 7 and took comfort that the game was in hand was not a Panthers fan. True Panthers fans knew that no lead was big enough. We have been conditioned this way.

Now, I don't get pissed so much like in the first few games of the year. It is more amazement that we can always find a way to ****** defeat from the jaws of victory.

It makes watching games a whole different experience.

JR has conditioned me to accept losing now. My highs and lows now come from who I sit by, how many beer I drink, just HOW bad we lose, injuries, color of uniforms etc. Not many panther fans left that expect to win. Success...I guess? I dunno but when I watch now it feels like 2010 (and 09) with a competent QB...it makes it even harder to accept.

When the 3rd quarter hit, I popped open my first beer. By the end I was on my 10. Alcohol cures angryness.

By the midpoint of the 2nd quarter, I was on my 3rd pitcher of happiness. By halftime, I bought the three lion fans in the bar a shot each of fire whisky. By the fourth quarter, I was on my 2 pitcher of sorrows. Come games end, said lion fans each bought me a shot of tequila and beam. Alcohol does cure everything.
