Something has to give

I see next week as a win win for us. If we win, hooooray! If we lose, we'd be one step closer to Andrew Luck and getting the farm from a team trading up to get him. I'll take another 2-14 season if it means we get 2-3 first rounders, and a couple 2nd and 3rd's to sweeten the deal. Knowing our luck he'll go back for his senior season, then we'll have to go 2-14 again and he'll decide to not play football anymore.

Until we can stop a running back, I don't think we win another game.
sadly this is true and considering that they let kevin smith..a guy who was unemployed until about a week previous to the game and had been rejected by 7 teams this year...on a team that has had a sucky run game all year...run all over us, yeah, it's hard to rely on our defense to stop anyone. that's why we have to try to run up the score. our only hope is for us to be able to score a ton and hope the other team;s offense just self destructs and can't keep up.
With our luck this season, Colts will win. They have no business doing so, but that is the way things have been going.
i think the colts have had even worse luck.

they give their QB a 5 year/$90mil contract only to have him out for the season and possibly could be done for the rest of your career and then fin out that not only does your offense completely suck with him gone, but that your defense is incapable of stopping anyone either and a team that had made it to the playoffs the last 9 years in a row and 11 of the last 12 years can't win a game at all?

the only thing they have to look forward to is being able to draft luck and maybe having a new coaching staff after caldwell is fired at the end of the year for sucking. kind of sounds like us last year without all the wins. the only thing they have more than we had was the potential for manning to come back and play getting the offense back on track or having him help mentor luck.

We should be contracted if we lose (I dont really mean that).

Even though I have little to no reason we have the ability to stop anyone on Defense.

as poorly as the colts are playing, i think they'll do enough damage to themselves. they've only scored more than 20 once this year and they are averaging 13.3 points a game.

meanwhile, they are allowing 30 points per game.

turnovers have really bitten them in the butt as well. they are turning it over 2 times a game and are doing it pretty consistently, but they are only barely causing 1 a game on average but really it's been a lot worse than that. they've had 5 weeks that they haven't had any.
