Rookie QBs hitting the wall?

Cam's 4 INTs were bad, but he wasn't the only rookie QB to have a bad day

This might end up being one of the best rookie quarterback classes we have seen in a long time. And I have no doubt that at least two of these kid passers will be playing in the Pro Bowl at some point down the line.

But on Sunday, for long stretches of some games, and at critical moments in others, the rookie quarterbacks in this league looked every bit like rookies. Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder and Andy Dalton combined to throw 10 picks Sunday, some of them coming in the red zone or even the end zone. In fact, the only one from this group not to throw an interception, Gabbert, is clearly struggling more than his rookie brethren and his lack of accuracy has dogged him all season.

Nah, defenses just have enough film to know their strengths and weaknesses.

Basically. It's a copy cat league. As soon as one team develops a strategy to stop you everyone else is going to do it until you improve and/or adjust. At this point these guys have all been figured out. Adapt or die as the saying goes.

Gabbert was doomed the day that he started. Isn't his "number 1 receiver" Sims-Walker on IR too?

Oh please...Blaine was a top ten pick in the draft. He should be much better than he is. It's one thing not to have a good receiver but it's another to not be able to throw pass 15 feet. That was always Blaine's problem.

Anyway, those rookie QBs are going to get int alot until they master the art of hitting their target with pure accuracy when they are gunslinging those balls.
