It was never that Bryce had a weak arm. He just didn't take enough deep shots. And again, he was overthrowing guys. Not underthrowing them. Sure, a little more arc on the ball would have helped his receivers, but we don't have a real deep threat receiver. The closest was Chark last year but his hands were iffy at best. Timing was more of the reason for those misses than lack of arm strength. And that's mostly due to the room for error throwing deep to guys that aren't deep threat receivers. Mingo, TMJ, Thielen and Coker are not deep threat receivers. That doesn't mean they'll never catch a ball 30+ yards downfield. But it'll take a little more to get it done with them. Legette could be. But his hands are holding him back right now - like Chark. -
