Source: OMG MY OWN PERSONAL RESEARCH!!

Marty Hurney assembled teams have only won more often than 8 awful franchises and a few awful franchises have won more often than Hurney's teams have. Last place in the division over that stretch.

There are still plenty of people that defend Marty Hurney and say he has a great track record and that he's a great GM. However, even if you stretch his W-L record all the way back to 2002, he's now under .500 at 49.4%. He's getting worse too. Since the end of 2008, the Panthers have won just 28.6% of the time. And since the end of 2009, the Panthers have won just 15.3% of the time. Is this the mark of a good general manager?
