Does anyone know why Peppers won't sign his tender?

Where are you guys getting that from? Is that some sort of inside scoop on Peppers just like his mysterious illness in 2007?

It was from the NFL owner's meeting, it was released during that time span. Said something about Peppers not completely being sold on getting out of the panther's system at the moment. There is still a good chance that he plays here next season and there is still a chance that he signs a long term deal.

I think he just wanted to see what his market value was....

They prepare for every draft the same, by scouting every single player that has a chance of being drafted. Take that pool and knock it down to players you like and where you would take said player at. It doesn't matter where you drafting at, that can all change. They can make a move and trade peppers or they can decide not to do so and it wouldn't affect the way they prepare for the draft. They are still scouting first round talent, Do we have a first round pick??????

No we don't at the moment.

But they're having to do everything coming from two different places. They can prepare for and then draft guys assuming the starting defensive ends will be Peppers and Brayton or.....Charles Johnson and Brayton. The mindset you have is completely different in both of those.

What happens if Peppers is STILL here on Draft Day, the Panthers go BPA and pick a defensive tackle, and then they trade Peppers soon after the fact? If they had been able to move Peppers before the draft, they probably would have taken a defensive end in the second-round since the defensive end cupboard would be looking pretty bare.

I'm not saying you or anyone else is lying about that, I just personally ever saw that online anywhere or even on the Huddle. Do you have a link so I can check it out?

He gets traded before the draft and we get a first rounder or three 2nd rounders plus from NE or he stays. It's not going to happen at the end of the second round after we pick....

FALSE: Trade discussions aren't allowed between teams until he signs.

FACT: Trade discussions aren't allowed between teams until he signs.

Thus, if he does not sign, only he and/or his agent may talk to the teams of his chosing. Therefore controlling where he goes, and pretty much making sense of my intial post.

Isn't that what I said?

FACT: Posting in this format is not annoying.

FACT: Samuel L. Jackson was cooler when he posted like Samuel L. Jackson.

FACT: I still love Samuel L. Jackson.

FICTION: Peppers hasn't signed his tender because he's jealous of all the Cutler threads.

FALSE: I know Peppers will be a Panther next year.

I'm confused. You asked why he hadn't signed yet. I said because he wanted control of where he went, and he loses that control if he signed, to which you replied, False: Teams can't negotiate a trade until he signs. Which in turn, validated my post on why he hadn't signed. Unless you were initially somehow agreeing with my post, in which case I misunderstood you from the beginning.

100% truth in this statement... I tried to tell you all from the get go...

Then I expect any day now he'll come in and sign long term with the Panthers, right?
