Can the Panthers afford to go Offense with their 1st pick in the Draft?

Rivera is a defensively minded coach who dies a little inside every Sunday when we get gashed by scrubs. He has been the DC for great defenses everywhere he's coached in recent history. This will not stand for Chico. He's got an offense that can score 30 ppg with the rookiest of rookie QB's (no 1st offseason) and a defense that can stop no one from scoring 30 ppg.

That being said, I have absolutely no problem with the Panthers drafting Kalil, moving Gross to RT, and running bootlegs alllll day.

Guys really aren't getting this whole bpa thing are you?

Exactly, you need to take BPA with a top 10 pick... the only other option would be to try and trade down. There are a handful of good QB's in the draft after luck, could be a team out there willing to trade the farm for one of them.

RJ Stanford played like crap against the Lions. Our LB corps, even Anderson, was getting burned all game long. Our DLine did almost nothing, gave Stafford plenty of time to find open targets.

Teams run the ball on our defense like it is swiss cheese. All together, our defense is just so, so horrible. Rivera was *supposed* to be a guy who can create a solid defense, even with sub par personnel. So far, either our guys really suck, or hes not doing his job.

As for the draft, draft a fugging DT, LB, and Corner. Hell, even Martin sucked. Go for a safety too. I just tired of seeing the opposing team walk down the field. So frustrating.
