If the D stepped up, we would've won and Cam wouldn't have had to try to make home run pass plays that Chud calls at the end which resulted in 2 INTs. Then we wouldn't be bitching about him or talking about the wide open receivers. Also, we dont know why he missed those open guys. Was there a defender rushing on the same side as that open receiver? Was Chud telling him where he needs to throw? Is he just a rookie playing like a rookie? We don't know. Point is if the defense steps up, we wouldn't be talking about it.

I'm pretty sure that he knows that we need all the help we can get in the draft next year. Those picks were intentional!

(if you can't recognize sarcasm, I got nothin 4 ya)

The thing people need to realize is that WE KNOW the defense is fuging garbage.

They have and will give up 30+ points EVERY game.

not really, not all people know that, one guy actually thinks this defense is efficent.

Cam has consistently missed high on his throws this season, it's a legit criticism.

it's legit criticism, BUT he's the guy that everyone is pounding on, people are looking at his stats and saying, oh, look at this while ignoring the fact that Kevin Smith had 100 yards rushing. one guy in the The Golden Calf of Bristol vs. Newton thread said that the defense is efficent, THIS is efficent!! giving up 100 yards to Kevin smith??? no, that's a bad defense. Newton wasnt great, i agree, but he wasnt awful, if this was Delhomme or Clausen, the game is lost 49 to 14. with Newton, the game can at least be won, MY biggest criticism of Newton is that he tends to sit on a lead and not win the game in the clutch, but these are fixable.

I want you to show me where I said that. If you can't show me, I get to neg rep you. Sounds fair after you making such a stupid, purposefully inflammatory post.

Oh nooooooooo not a neg rep, please don't... man up bro were both fans here. If you have to use rep to make your argument than that says it all for you doesn't it...

You turn into a crazed baboon after every loss and make outrageous statements. That isn't my fault.

2 of those ints came in garbage time when cam was trying to tie back up the game because our defense again gave up a fugging touchdown.

I saw some overthrows from cam and im not happy about the ints, but christ sakes what do you expect to happen when we have to score a td pretty much every damn drive.

One of those interceptions came in garbage time. 1. The other one ytou mentioned is what cost us the game. He pushed the ball down field against a Prevent defense with a poor pass. Did everything you could possibly do wrong on that play.

You can't rely on this defense, so stop relying on them. Just get it in your head that on every drive they will be scored on, that's how bad they are, that's how injured they are at this point.

The D stepping up is what happened in the first half, the second half is what would have happened in the first if those turnovers didn't happen.

The difference is the offense didn't score or keep the ball like it did in the first half, thus the L.

Except he didn't have a decent game. He had far and away his worse game of the season. A grand portion of his stats were compiled during garbage time. Last week he had the excuse of the OL's poor play, he doesn't have that this week. He failed to step up in the pocket when pressure came around the edge, I don't know that I saw him step into a single throw. The lanes were there. It was a horrid mechanical performance, and the fact that it began last week and nothing was done about it during practice this week is even more worrisome.

The only thing that really happened during "garbage time" was the interception he threw at the very end. We were in the game the rest of the time, and in fact, we still had a chance to march down field and tie the game when Cam threw that interception, which was after about ten-fifteen yards picked up by Cam.

I do think Cam played a part in it, but, the main thing that ended up being the game was letting Kevin Smith run around like Barry Sanders.

Which brings me back to my other point about the play calling which i started a thread on
