Cam's a slam for Rookie of the Year

Uhm..they weren't efficient passers in their rookie years either. They sucked too! And their teams lost too. Most of those guys were all losers in their rookie years too.

And it ain't just completion percentage. There's more to the QB position than that. There's game managing. There's interceptions. There's sacks. There's knowing when to throw a ball away. There's knowing where to pass. There's situational ratings like in Cam's case the 4th quarter when tied or down.

All of those things added up.

Manning threw the most interceptions for a rookie, I guess he never accomplished anything either.

i saw clayton make a few. to be honest i'd forgotten all about duper

but nobody could put it on the spot downfield like marino

Remember the one he made in Seattle playoff game? In the endzone and had a defender between him and the ball. He elevated (had hops similiar to Smitty) and caught the ball BEHIND the corners head? That has to be one of the all time great catches.

Only Ben and Dalton have been the only ones worth a damn in their rookie years off the top of my head.

lol dan marino, bob griese, joe namath, johnny unitas, rick mirer, charlie conerly, fran tarkenton, bob waterfield, and greg cook all say hi

maybe you shouldn't pull poo off the top of your head, which is really out of your ass

dalton isn't even the best rookie qb the bengals have ever had

You know who was better than Manning and Aikman and Marino as rookies? Brady and Rodgers. Cause they sat their asses on a bench and didn't cost their teams wins.

When they were ready to play NFL QB they came in and won. It's not necessary to throw a season a way to train a rookie. Sorry but people make this poo up. It's not real. Aaron and Brady are the best two QB's in the league. Neither one of them got to play their rookie years.

That's how its supposed to work. You learn first. Then you get to play. It actually tends to motivate you and makes you better cause the only way you get to start is if you can prove you're better than the guy ahead of you.

Yeah I was mad as hell that Marino cost the Phins 2 losses in a 14-2 regular season.

Cam was the first overall draft selection, meaning BOTH Brady and Rodgers came into better situations than Cam. You can't be this oblivious could you?

I said it was off the top of my head, but Big Ben's the only one that's made the NFC Championship game. And there are rookies that have fared much better than those. Joe Flacco 's been to the playoffs. So did Matt Ryan. Some of those guys you listed did good and had winning seasons but none freaking compared to Big Ben or were worth a damn in the playoffs. Like I said he's the only one that was worth a damn. And until Dalton gets knocked out, you can't say anything about him yet. He's done a damn good job. I love how nobody gives this guy credit but Newton's the greatest even though we're 2-7.

So take your loser rookies and put them back in history where they belong. They are not worth poo, just like most rookie QB's.
