Felton is 6'0" 246...Alstott was listed at 6'1" 248. Same type player.

I want the guy to get some more playing time, but it ain't happening. He'll never get the attempts Alstott was fed in Tampa.

Same type physically. He won't get the reps....Tampa used Alstott as a primary back for years.

Felton is 26 years old and hasn't been utilized in a game that is phasing out the FB. Alstott has a 12+ year resume that includes a Super Bowl championship.

I don't see how the comparison couldn't be made because of the size/college background. Career NFL numbers notwithstanding. Again, I never said Felton=Alstott. Felton is 26 years old and Alstott played for 12+ years. Contrast them.

I guess I am one of those who think Fiammetta was not that great. Honestly I would have kept Hoover who wasn't coming off a major concussion over Fiametta last year and taken my chances this year with picking up someone to fit this offense. Fiammetta did nothing noteworthy even under Fox last year. And in this offense he is a poor fit. I am glad he is doing well for Dallas but color me unimpressed with his whole career so far. He was no big loss in my opinion.

Fiametta made no impact, and wasn't hitting blocks. Felton's blocking has been pretty spot on this year.
