Was it right to go with Felton over Fiammetta?

They replaced him with another "true" FB, so that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

You're right that Felton is a true FB but he has much more experience catching balls out of the backfield than Fiammetta did... at least, I think he did. I looked the guy up when we first brought him in, I assumed they brought him in because they liked something they saw on film and figured he'd fit better than Fiammetta. Thought Felton was more rounded or something.

however I don't think it matters who our FB is, our offense uses a FB maybe four times a game it seems, heh.

He's a lead blocker first and foremost, thus the term. Fiametta could catch and run as well. I also disagree with letting Sutton go, who was more of a hybrid back than anyone else on the roster.

dropping sutton made me sad but he wouldn't have gotten any playing time anywhere here.

Fiammetta perhaps could catch and run, but he didn't show it as often as Felton had was all I was saying.

I disagree with calling Felton a true FB...he's basically been converted to one and plugged into the FB role during his NFL career. I wouldn't be surprised to see his role enhanced here, but considering the offense scheme, I doubt he'll get many chances to prove himself.
