We will win tomorrow

34-28, bank on it....I made two threads this year saying we would win and those were the two games we won. Just have a feeling, Detroit is looking ahead to their Turkey Day game and think they will steamroll us. We'll get up 17-0 or so early and barely hold on.

As bad as some of your posts are at times, I don't think you are far off on this one. Panthers have a good shot at winning this game and from a gambling perspective, with them getting 7 pts., that is one of the better plays I have seen in awhile. Everyone is betting the Lions and Vegas will make bank on this game.

The Panthers could come out and lay an egg like last week but I don't see that happening. After a tough loss last week, and some big games coming up, I can easily see the Lions coming out flat against the Panthers. Cam just needs to make good decissions because they will pressure him and are very underated against the pass. I think this will be a very good game and the Panthers will get to Stafford. Will it be enough? I don't know, but a win is not out of the question at all.

There's one of these every week and they've been wrong 21 times out of the last 25. The times we did win came against teams lead by Blaine Gabbert, John Beck, David Carr and John Skelton. We haven't beaten a team with a winning record since the 2009 season. So yeah, I'm not getting my hopes up.

There are two very big IFs that have to happen for us to beat the Lions.

1) Stafford threw the ball 44 times last week, with 19 going at CJ. IF we can stop his big plays, especially in the red zone, we have a chance to slow them down.

2) The Lions like to get pressure with just their front four. IF we can be successful with screens, draws, and quick timing routes. We should be able to move the ball on them.

It will of course take more than just those two IFs for us to win. Like Chud calling a game that uses Detroits aggressiveness against them. We also need to pressure Stafford, and with their crappy O-line, that could actually happen.

I have been a Lions fan my whole life, and it will be strange rooting against them. But, I am a Panthers fan first, so I am pulling for the Panthers to pull out the W.

My giddy is still in high gear. So GOOOOO CAtS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
