Not that ESPN has been very credible in many of our eyes as of late... But, on Sportscenter this morning they said the Redskins are trying to complete a deal as soon as possible for Cutler, but that the Lions, Bears, Panthers, and some other teams HAVE SHOWN interest.

If we could get him for Peppers and a 2nd I would do it.

Here's a new story from the Observer.

3) Trading for Cutler would signal the end of the Jake Delhomme era. There simply is no way the two could co-exist. They are both starters -- and the Panthers seem bullishly set on sticking with Delhomme despite significant public sentiment to the contrary.

Are they right? Time will tell. One thing is for sure, however: It certainly looks like coach John Fox and general manager Marty Hurney are so confident in Delhomme that they're willing to risk their jobs to keep him.

So as intriguing as a Cutler-to-Carolina trade is to talk about, there is little reason to think it'll become a reality.

Word in from Denver on what it would take to complete Cutler Trade.

In the meantime, the Broncos have informed all interested teams that they want at least two first-round picks for Cutler and getting a quarterback in exchange is not a necessity, Chris Mortensen reports. A team source said it was possible Cutler could be traded as soon as Friday.

IDk is there a way to merge all these Cutler threads together and start deleting and merging new ones.........For the sakes of humanity and the sanity of the forum members.

I've been busy at work today. Maybe when I get home, but it's a pain in the ass to merge them all.

      I'd like to see the final stretch of games this year with a consitent unit of Icky-Lewis-BC-Hunt-Moton. They seem to be our strongest group together but haven't played a ton together due to injury.  If/when we move on from Moton, I think Icky would be the better RT and keep BC at LT. IDK if Mays or Raym is the answer at C, but the latter could be a gem with another year or so under his belt. After seeing what Coker and Richardson have done for us in the UDFA market, testing out a true C from a school like OU gives me hope.
